Who is Sai Baba?
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, affectionately called “Baba,” is the Guru of Sai Maa. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was an Indian spiritual leader who was revered by millions of devotees around the world. He was born into a poor family in India and spent his early years working as a temple priest. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba rose to prominence in the 1940s when he began performing miracles, such as materializing objects and healing the sick. He soon gained a large following of devoted followers who believed that he was a living god.
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba established numerous educational and medical institutions in India and abroad, and was also responsible for building several large temples and ashrams. In his later years, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was rarely seen in public. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 85. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was and continues to be an immensely popular spiritual figure, and his teachings have inspired millions of people around the world.
